I’m a qualified Integrative Arts Counsellor and creative facilitator offering online 1:1 therapy, and creative wellbeing activities using arts.
As someone with experience of non-visible chronic illness, a neurodiverse family, and identify in the
LGBTQ+ community my approach is inclusive and person-centred, focusing on your unique needs
with empathy and compassion in a safe space.
What I Offer: I use a variety of art forms to help you navigate emotions, relationships, and personal challenges. Our sessions can include:
Drawing and Painting: Express your feelings visually.
Clay and Collage: Explore your thoughts through tactile creativity.
Music and Movement: Connect with your emotions through sound and physical expression.
Creative Writing: Find words for what you're experiencing.
Puppetry and Drama: Use storytelling to understand your journey.
LEGO and Play: Engage in playful activities to unlock new perspectives.
My Background in Health and Social Care, including dementia, palliative, and learning disability care, helps me to bring a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to therapy. During my clinical placement with Andover Mind, I provided art therapy both in person and online. I am also a creative practitioner which supports my knowledge of using the arts to support mental health.
It important we create a safe and supportive space where you can express yourself freely. Whether you're dealing with current issues or past experiences, we'll find the right outlet to help you understand and work through your feelings.
Reach out to talk about how I can help in your journey of self-discovery and healing.
I offer a free 20-minute initial call before we work together to see if I’m the right fit for your needs.
I will invite you for an assessment meeting. This will involve lightly discussing your mental health history, experiences of therapy and needs now. I can send the questions ahead of the session and will share with you the client consent to therapy contract.
If you agree that Creative Counselling would benefit you, my fees are £57 for 1 hour.
I offer a reduced rate of £47 for 18-25 year olds, therapy students, and those on certain benefits.
I suggest we book regular sessions for 6 weeks, then review your needs together regularly
in therapy from then on for what you want to focus on, for as long as you feel is right.
