A Gentle Creative Space for Neurodivergent Adults
Finding Words is a calm, therapeutic arts space for neurodivergent adults who want time to explore identity, communication, and inner experience alongside people with shared lived experience.
You’re welcome whether you’re late‑diagnosed, self‑identified, questioning, awaiting assessment, or simply looking for a space where your way of being is understood. You don’t need any art experience — everything is low‑pressure, sensory‑aware, and accessible. This is time for you, without needing to mask or perform.
Who Facilitates the Group
The sessions are co‑facilitated by:
Cesca Myles, Integrative Arts Counsellor working within Neurodivergent, Disabled and LGBTQ communities
Emily Edwards, Neurodiversity Coach
They create a grounded, supportive environment using therapeutic art‑making, Clean Language, and a non‑directive coaching approach. You won’t be pushed to interpret your work or share more than you want to. Your own insight leads the way.
What Happens in the Sessions
Across three sessions, you can explore creative activities that don’t require skill or planning:
Clay — grounding and tactile, helpful for settling in
Intuitive painting & mark‑making — play with colour, movement, and texture
Collage & found words — choose images or words that resonate
Erasure poetry — keep what fits, remove what doesn’t
Simple printing — repeat shapes or words that feel meaningful
You choose what you use, how long you spend on each activity, and how much you talk. Sharing is always optional.
What This Space Is:
a therapeutic wellbeing space led by qualified professionals. A place for:
connection
creativity

The environment values sensory needs, autonomy, and consent. You can participate in whatever way feels comfortable.
